Is franchising a fit for you right now?
Six honest questions, two minutes, no email required. There's no score and nothing to pass. The point is to help you rule things out before anyone tries to sell you something.
Question 1 of 6
Why are you looking at franchising at all?
There are no wrong answers. There are answers that change what we'd suggest.
Picture a normal Tuesday in the business. Which sounds right?
Not launch week. A regular Tuesday, two years in.
Do you know your real number?
Not the franchise fee. The total: build-out, equipment, working capital, and the months before you pay yourself.
How do you feel about following someone else's playbook?
Franchising means buying a system. The question is how you'll feel living inside it.
Have you looked at any brands yet?
Every brand you've rejected tells us something. So does the one you keep coming back to.
If the honest answer turned out to be "not now," how would you feel?
Last one.
Here's what your answers tell us, in plain language. None of it is a score, and none of it is final.
Want to talk it through with a person?
Book a free fit call and your answers come with you, so you won't have to repeat yourself. It takes about half an hour, and there's no obligation. If you'd rather sit with it, that's fine too. The door stays open.
Next: a few short questions (we'll fill in what we can), then we email you to find a time.
Ruling things out is the whole job
Most of franchising won't fit you. That's not a problem. It's how a short list gets short. The faster we rule out the wrong vehicle, the wrong role, and the wrong price, the sooner what's left is worth your time.
Wrong vehicle
Some people should start a business from scratch. Some should buy an existing one. Some should stay employed a while longer. Franchising is one option, not the only one.
Wrong role
Hands-on owner, manager of managers, or investor: the same brand can be a dream or a trap depending on which one you are.
Wrong price
The fee is the small number. If the all-in number and your runway don't line up, no brochure changes that.
